Emma has wide ranging experience in all aspects of family law having been a part of our firm for over 20 years. She is an accredited member of the Advanced Family Law Panel.
As a Collaborative Family Lawyer, Emma is able to offer clients the option to avoid the stress and anxiety of court hearings via alternative approaches.
Charles MacIlroy
Senior Partner
Charles is a highly experienced senior partner of our firm and specialises in Employment Law. Charles handles cases involving all aspects of Employment Law, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and TUPE regulatory issues.
He has extensive, technical knowledge of UK Employment Law and has successfully helped clients in numerous high profile, high value, contentious cases.
James C. Fordroy
Partner
James, as head of our Civil Litigation team, is responsible for overseeing all case loads involving civil litigation. This includes those involving personal injury, probate, property and building disputes, landlord and tenant issues and debt recovery matters.
He is able to advise on both law and practical solutions and has an excellent grounding in contentious matters relating to the corporate client.
Georgia Saunton

Georgia is a highly valued and experienced member of our firm. She handles case loads in a number of areas and has represented clients in the county courts, the high court and the court of appeal.
From mediation to high level commercial disputes, her approach is both non confrontational and constructive. However she is also capable of handling the most bitterly fought of disputes.
Khalid Ramu

Khalid is an accomplished member of our team. He has extensive experience in the area of Property and Probate. He has assisted many clients with the drafting of Wills and Codicils, obtaining Grant’s of Representation, the administration of estates, applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Khalid can also assist with applications to the Court of Protection where a person no longer has mental capacity and a Deputy needs to be appointed to deal with their finances

Scott Thompson

Scott has been a member of our corporate team for over nine years drafting and negotiating all types of business agreements, ranging from simple terms of business, intellectual property licences to advising on multi million pound company sales.
He has an in depth knowledge in all areas of corporate law and is able to advise clients in a clear, concise and approachable manner.
Allana Ferguson
Licensed Conveyancer
Allana is our resident Licensed Conveyancer. She is extremely capable and able to handle all residential and commercial conveyancing.
Allana specialises in commercial conveyancing and has extensive experience dealing with investor clients. She is also able to offer expert advice concerning the acquisition and disposal of high value residential property, both freehold and leasehold
Andrew Gilbert
Conveyancer
Andrew is a relatively recent addition to our team at Stantham’s, having been a member of our Conveyancing Team for the past two years. However, Andrew has been a practising Conveyancer for over ten years and has a great deal of experience in all areas of conveyancing.
He specialises in residential conveyancing, and in particular, the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties,, tenancy agreements and shared ownership schemes.
Hannah Stewart
Trainee Solicitor
Hannah joined our team as an ambitious Trainee Solicitor. She has a great rapport with all of her clients and shows an excellent attention to detail. Her general understanding in all areas of law shows great potential for her future career.
As she approaches the end of her training she is assisting our Family Law department in a number of cases, including divorce and finances, domestic violence injunctions and child disputes.
Carter Barries
Paralegal
Carter is our newest addition, having recently completed his law degree with excellent results. Despite his relative inexperience, Carter has shown great talent and work ethic and is a valued member of our team.
He hopes to eventually specialise in Commercial Law and has been assisting with creating subsidiaries, corporate governance transactions and matters involving financial regulation and compliance.
